Laminate Veneer Procedure: Step by Step
1. Consultation & Smile Design:
Your dentist evaluates your oral condition, takes photos or scans, and designs your ideal smile digitally.
2. Tooth Preparation:
A very thin layer (about 0.3-0.7 mm) of enamel may be removed from the front surface of the teeth. In some cases, no preparation is needed (non-prep veneers).
3. Impression Taking:
Precise impressions or digital scans are sent to the dental lab where your custom veneers are crafted.
4. Temporary Veneers (if needed):
Temporary restorations may be placed while waiting for the final veneers.
5. Bonding Session:
The permanent veneers are carefully bonded to the teeth using strong dental adhesives.
6. Final Adjustments & Smile Reveal:
Bite is checked, minor refinements are done, and you walk out with a transformed smile.
